Making a Splash for STA’s Learn to Swim Week!

At Swim with Style, we’re proud to support STA’s Learn to Swim Week, an annual campaign that shines a spotlight on just how important swimming is — not just for fitness and fun, but for safety and confidence too.

This year’s theme is all about "Every Child Swimming", and we couldn’t agree more. We believe every child should have access to high-quality, supportive swim lessons, regardless of their age, ability, or confidence level.

Why Learn to Swim?

Swimming is more than just a sport — it’s a lifesaving skill. Drowning is one of the leading causes of accidental death in children, and lessons with trained teachers significantly reduce this risk. Learning to swim can also:

🌊 Build confidence in and around water Improve physical health and coordination🧠 Boost mental wellbeing and focus Develop social skills and teamwork. Provide a safe way to have fun on holidays or at the beach

How We Support Swimmers

At Swim with Style, we do things a little differently. We keep our classes small — usually no more than four children — so that every swimmer gets the attention they deserve. Our friendly teachers are often in the water with the children, gently guiding them through each new skill.

We welcome nervous beginners, children with additional needs, and young improvers who want to refine their technique. We also offer a free trial lesson so families can see how we work before committing.

Join Us!

If your child hasn’t yet started lessons, STA Learn to Swim Week is the perfect time to take that first step. We have spaces available at many of our venues, and we’d love to welcome new swimmers into our Swim with Style family.

Let’s work together to ensure every child learns to swim — safely, confidently, and with a smile!
